This creative collage workshop  brings different images together to create something beautiful and whole. Sifting through images mirrors how our minds sort emotions, memories, and experiences. Neuroscience shows that this engages both our creative and logical capacities, supporting emotional regulation and flexible thinking.

Transforming fragments into art can be a healing process, offering a gentle way to work through difficult emotions and experiences. Tess’s collage sessions allow space for reflection and creativity — and importantly, collage brings joy and will support setting goals for the year ahead.

Collage Workshop Stanthorpe Art Gallery Saturday 17 January 2026

Make a reusable exercise book cover for back to school.

We’ll be upcycling pictures from old books onto paper, to slide into a plastic book cover. Neuroscience shows that making collage gets both our creative and logical sides working, which can help us think more flexibly. Plus, this collage session allows reflection and creativity, but importantly, it’s a fun and creative experience that results in a practical item for school.

All materials included.  Suitable for children over 10 years old. Light snack provided. Book online through Stanthorpe Regional Art Gallery.
